Our company provides a pickup and delivery summer storage service for college students across the United States. At the end of the spring semester, we pick up our clients' belongings, store their items over the summer, and then deliver their things when they're back on campus the next fall.

Job Summary

The Customer Support Specialist is a crucial role in serving as the glue that connects and translates the needs of Greenbox Storage clients to the entire company. This position is responsible for ensuring quick and thoughtful responses to clients and potential new clients alike. The department's success has a drastic impact on the conversion rate of prospects, the retention rate of customers in subsequent years, and the company's image in terms of reviews and public image.

Compensation

$6 / hour USD.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls, emails, and chats.
  • Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts, and file documents.
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies
  • Coordinating with on-campus teams to document special client requests - No matter how much we prepare, there will always be requests that fall outside the norm! Our job is to ensure clients' needs are met and that the job is executed properly. We don't say 'We Can't.' We say 'How can we?'

Requirements

  • Fluent English with a minimal accent
  • Must work in the American time zone (Eastern Standard Time)
  • Experience as a Customer Support Representative
  • Must have Zendesk experience
  • Effective communication skills
  • Must be willing to work weekends
  • Ability to handle fast-paced changes and intense workloads.
  • Strong critical thinking skills.
